The universities of applied sciences Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, Fulda University of Applied Sciences, and RheinMain University of Applied Sciences have independent doctoral rights in the field of applied computer science. The inter-university Doctoral Center for Applied Computer Science (PZAI) is responsible for conducting and organizing the doctoral programs. Supervision is provided by professors with proven research expertise. The center's office is located at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden.
