Application with foreign educational certificates

Would you like to do a doctorate at the PZAI and have your degree from abroad? Then it must first be checked whether your degree fulfils the requirements for a doctorate in Germany.

This check is subject to a fee, is carried out by uni-assist and involves the following steps:

You prepare the necessary documents:
- Application for acceptance
- Degree certificate entitling you to a doctorate in English language (e.g. Master's degree; degree certificate and transcript/gradesheet)
- Bachelor's degree in English language (degree certificate and transcript/gradesheet)
- Copy of your passport
Registration and application in the uni-assist portal (https://my.uni-assist.de)
- Please enter ‘Hochschule RheinMain’ as the search criterion and remove the filter for ‘Semester’
- Enter "Promotion" under Type of degree
- Payment of the fees
- Upload the documents
Sending the examination results
- The result of the examination is forwarded directly to the PZAI office, so you do not need to take any action here.
